“Just because you have anger issues doesn’t mean you are a bad person, it just means you are person with ‘bad anger management tools’. Anger Etiquette gives you the ‘good tools’ and helps you get rid of the ‘bad tools’.”

Mitchell Frank (Check out the comments section)

Mitchell has 35 years of experience working in the educational and mental health corrections field including 26 years in private practice. Mitchell’s vast anger management teaching experience started in 1987 when he started teaching the Conflict Resolution component of a new eight-week, evidence based, Anger Control Program being developed at the Wisconsin Resource Center, a medium security care and treatment facility specifically designed for correctional inmates with behavioral and mental health challenges. This was the first correctional facility of this kind in the country to begin providing specialized services to mentally ill inmates. In 1990 this evidence-based Anger Control program expanded into a sixteen-week program. The two hour per week Conflict Resolution component of the program changed into a new eight hour per week course titled “Anger and Conflict Etiquette” developed and instructed by Mitchell Frank.

In 1990 Mitchell became the Anger Control Program Coordinator of this innovative evidence based 16-week anger management program that consisted of the following programs: Anger & Conflict Etiquette, Communication Skills, Stress Management, Rational Assertiveness, Experiential Education, and Angerrobics. In 2003, Mitchell passed on his chairperson responsibilities to focus on his private anger management practice.

In September 1996, Mitchell started his private practice when he was asked by the Wisconsin Division of Community Corrections Probation and Parole Oshkosh, WI Office, to train convicted offenders on probation or parole anger management skills. In October 1996, Mitchell started teaching his evidence-based Anger & Conflict Etiquette anger management techniques to offenders on probation or parole. One year later, he expanded his program to the Neenah and Appleton, WI Probation and Parole offices. At this time Mitchell began taking referrals from the Winnebago, Outagamie, Waupaca, Calumet and Green Lake County Social Services Departments, various private industry Human Resource Directors, county sponsored Volunteers In Probation programs, Employee Assistance Programs, private individuals, family, and friends.
